Our own Tam Rich, whom many of you already know, will be signing copies of her book, Live Full Throttle: Life Lessons from Friends Who Faced Cancer at the Cottage during Tuesday Night Knitting next Tuesday, December 6th from 5pm - 8pm.

Tam based the book on two years of riding her motorcycle across the US and Canada with other women committed to the breast cancer cause. She learned how a brush with cancer helped survivors re-examine both their priorities and their assumptions about how to live their best lives.

Live Full Throttle shares eight of the lessons she learned:

  1. The Healing Power of Joy
  2. Gratitude Eases Pain
  3. Laughter Lightens Tragedy
  4. You' re Terminal Too, Embrace It
  5. When to Fight, When to Flow
  6. Art Restores
  7. Relationships Are Fluid
  8. Channel Sorrow Into Service

Each chapter includes thought-provoking questions and exercises designed to help the reader apply the lessons to their own lives. Illustrated with 100+ full-color photographs from America's Big Sky Country.

Tam's book would make a wonderful gift for someone who is facing or has triumphed cancer.   It's also extremely encouraging and applicable to all of us facing life's daily challenges.

Join us for refreshments and lots of conversation as we welcome Tam to the Cottage!
